    Nicaraguan beef sold in global markets, including the US, is contributing to the destruction of tropical rainforests and human rights violations. Nicaragua’s supply chain is broken, with illegally raised cattle finding their way to USDA-approved slaughter houses. We call on American beef importers who are buying beef through these improper channels to demand better controls and adherence to the law.
