Growing up in rural Georgia, I spent nearly every moment of my childhood outdoors. I would wander endlessly through the dense pine forests, exploring creeks, hilltops and ravines—chasing turkeys and deer—and developing a relationship with nature that informs nearly every decision I make.
When I think about how fortunate I am to have enjoyed such a rich childhood—free and full of adventure—my heart overflows with gratitude. I love the wilderness. I love the outdoors. The natural world forms the core of who I am, and it remains my passion and purpose in life.
